Celebrating 365 Days of Treatments...

Hats off to Lane for a year of treatments..... and to the rest of our family especially Taylor, Cain, and Nick for all the sacrifices they have made as well in accommodating Lane's very demanding, unpredicting, selfish roommate (Cystic Fibrosis)....

Cody Lambert was Lane's celebrity for the Reining Horses Celebrity Slide to benefit Make - A - Wish last December. He offered our family the opportunity to attend the PBR in Oklahoma City over this last weekend and WOW.... For starters February 13th is Lane's CF anniversary for a year of treatments, so having an event such as this to help us celebrate life and all the milestones our whole family has accomplished in the past year was a God send.... Lane loves bull riding and his favorite all time movie is 8 seconds, so being able to see it live was amazing... Mr. Lambert provided us with an awesome weekend of tickets, top notch seats and we even got to attend the VIP Pre Party both days.... It was a weekend we will not soon forget as Lane rein acts the events with his miniature figurines and bull ( of which one he has deemed Cody, and has brought him back into the thick of bull riding all over again, so much for retirement, and the other figurine he has deemed Mike Lee )....

I must say that this has only encouraged Lane's desire to compete in Mutton Bustin ... So I guess we just need to find him a few rodeos to go to... "maybe lol" ... :)

This man was scaling down from the ceiling, KARAZY!!!

A bull nudging my head is a bit much for me...... Yikes

This one was OUT before he ever hit the ground due to a harsh kick to the head... A bit scary, he did walk out, but dang that was insane....

Okay so a bull trying to eat me or squash me would be a little um frightening.... Dont know how those cowboys do it....

Flint .... The best rodeo clown eva....

I think they have locked eyes..... whoa....

A special thanks to Cody for a fantastic weekend, and helping us celebrate life, eyes wide open...
