Kiss Please..... Boarding the ship....

This was our beautiful hotel in the Orlando airport..... For those who do not know, the Orlando Airport is HUGE, with lots to eat and lots of places to shop..... And they were also much gentler with our medical equipment ( we were dragging with us A LOT of MEDICAL ITEMS) and I am well aware that it all must be gone through, we had a few machines as well as several liquids and a styrofoam ice chest..... Which by the way if you have to travel with an ice chest for medications, the styrofoam was okay for the airports but WAS CONFISCATED during security to board the ship, so then we had to purchase another ice chest with beverages ON the ship in order to have an ice chest again... so that is just food for thought.... Next time we wont take styrofoam, no biggie....

This was GREAT..... MINNIE is BEGGING Lane for a kiss but he will NOT give her one lol lol.... She begged for awhile...lol... This was the lobby waiting to board the ship....

Our first meal was as soon as we got on board at noon.... This was the dessert bar, oh my was the food delish...... AMAZING....

This is a six year olds dream lunch lol...... mini corn dogs, mac n cheese, banana, cookies, marshmallow, strawberries lol.... while us bigger kids ate steak, shrimp, salads you name it along with that dessert bar.... yum yum.....

Then comes GOOFY... Lane was soooooooo happy can you tell.....

oh and one of his fav CLUTO ( yes I know it is PLUTO, but Lane is convinced it is CLUTO, so Cluto it is)

When Lane arrived in his room he had a MICKEY CAPTAIN waiting for him.... He just loves him... This is from the Make A Wish Host on board Collin..... Collin was GREAT he sent him little snack trays to his room everyday..... Below is the treat tray he received day one....

And then it happened...... Folks this deck is VERY VERY VERY SLICK, and before I even knew what happened my feet went out from me and I fell hard and I do mean hard, my husband even kindly told me later I CAUGHT SOME AIR lol.... landed on my tailbone, and I swear to you all my tailbone exited my mouth..... As the crowd (oh yes there was a huge crowd lol lol ) all went ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I on the other hand went loopy for about 20 minutes seeing some serious stars, and not evening stars, loopy stars (no I did not hit my head, but like I said I think my tailbone went through it).... So now I am worried I will NEVER walk again..... Several people on the ship fell and there were several broken bones (crazy I tell ya, so fair warning TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF while walking on wet decks it is much safer)...... SO I PRAYED cuz I knew this fall could leave me unmovable by tomorrow, and GOD came through.... Isn't he just amazing.... I was a little sore, but not bad, it was amazing and I was able to not let it stop me.... pop a few Tylenol and moved on.... AMEN....... Note to self (remember to remove shoes)

Then we move on to our drill... Thank Goodness we never had to use these.... We did however embark on Tropical Storm later up graded to Hurricane Nicole, and I became very glad we had this drill but thankfully God came through again and we never had to pull them out again (good thing too cuz I am not sure with my fall if I remembered it all anyway) lol...

One of our NICE sit down dinners.... You could choose to go to a formal sit down, buffet, room service (which the teenagers seemed to love the most) or simply hit a few of the restaurants on the deck... I am telling you there was ALWAYS GREAT FOOD....

Okay well not everyone liked everything lol... The kids were exposed to some dishes that they might ordinary not be privy too... Some enjoyed the experience and well some didn't lol..... But the great thing is, if you didn't you could just go get you some pizza afterwards :).... Actually this was a great bonding time for our family and we enjoyed all our sit downs dinners.... You got to go to a different fancy restaurant each day and your servers went with you so you always had the same servers..... Lane was AMAZED how they knew EVERYTHING about him.... Like that the wanted to drink sprite or always needed ketchup and that his name was Lane... He thought it was amazing.....lol
